Wedding Reservation Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: August 4, 2026

Thank you for choosing Elite Wedding Ceremonies.

These Wedding Reservation Terms & Conditions govern the reservation of wedding officiant services through Elite Wedding Ceremonies. By submitting a Wedding Reservation Form and Deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Reserving Your Wedding Date

Your wedding date is considered officially reserved only after all three of the following have occurred:

  • Your completed Wedding Reservation Form has been submitted.
  • Your Wedding Deposit has been received.
  • Elite Wedding Ceremonies has emailed you a written Reservation Confirmation.

Submitting a Wedding Reservation Form alone does not reserve your wedding date.

Wedding dates are reserved on a first-paid, first-confirmed basis.

2. Deposit

A Deposit is necessary to secure your booking. After two weeks from the time of the deposit, the deposit will become non-refundable.

The amount of the Deposit varies depending on the total ceremony fee.

The Deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your ceremony.

Your wedding date is not considered reserved until both your completed Wedding Reservation Form and Deposit have been received and Elite Wedding Ceremonies has issued a written Reservation Confirmation.

3. Ceremony Fees & Final Payment

Your Reservation Confirmation will specify your total ceremony fee and the remaining balance due.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance is due 1-2 weeks prior to the wedding and can be paid using the same method you did when you made your Deposit.

Failure to make required payments may result in cancellation of your reservation.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you cancel your reservation for any reason after two weeks from the Deposit, your Deposit is non-refundable.

If you wish to reschedule your wedding, Elite Wedding Ceremonies will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your new date. Rescheduling requests are subject to officiant availability and cannot be guaranteed.

If your original officiant is unavailable for the new date, Elite Wedding Ceremonies may offer an alternative officiant or discuss other available options.

Additional fees may apply if significant changes are made to the original reservation.

5. Officiant Availability

Elite Wedding Ceremonies will make every reasonable effort to ensure the officiant you selected performs your ceremony.

In the unlikely event your selected officiant becomes unavailable because of illness, emergency, accident, or other unforeseen circumstances, Elite Wedding Ceremonies reserves the right to provide a qualified replacement officiant.

If a suitable replacement cannot be arranged, Elite Wedding Ceremonies will refund all payments received.

6. Marriage License

The couple is solely responsible for obtaining a valid marriage license and complying with all applicable state and local marriage license requirements.

The officiant cannot legally perform a marriage ceremony without a valid marriage license when one is required by law.

Elite Wedding Ceremonies is not responsible for delays, errors, or cancellations resulting from an invalid, expired, or missing marriage license.

Elite Wedding Ceremonies Officiants will return the marriage license to the County Clerk on the next business day unless arranged otherwise.

7. Timeliness

The couple is responsible for ensuring that the ceremony begins at the scheduled time.

If the ceremony is delayed by 30 minutes or more due to circumstances within the couple’s control, the officiant reserves the right to:

  • Charge a reasonable additional fee for the extended wait time; or
  • Leave the venue if continuing is not reasonably possible because of prior commitments or scheduling conflicts.

If the officiant chooses to remain, a $100 waiting fee will be assessed and communicated to the couple and must be paid before or at the time of the ceremony unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Force Majeure

Elite Wedding Ceremonies and its officiants shall not be held liable for delays, cancellations, or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, earthquake, government restrictions, pandemics, transportation disruptions, acts of terrorism, civil unrest, or serious illness.

In such situations, Elite Wedding Ceremonies will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the ceremony or provide a qualified replacement officiant whenever possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

Elite Wedding Ceremonies’ total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by the couple to Elite Wedding Ceremonies.

Elite Wedding Ceremonies shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, emotional, or special damages arising from the performance or non-performance of officiant services.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

10. Photography & Marketing

Elite Wedding Ceremonies may request permission to use photographs, videos, testimonials, or reviews from your wedding for marketing purposes, including our website, social media, printed materials, and promotional content.

No photographs, videos, or testimonials will be used without your permission.

11. Privacy
